legalizing Operator‐based video gaming in Pennsylvania

Pennsylvania Video Gaming Association

PAVGA’s mission is simple; pass operator‐based video gaming legislation to support small business, the local economy and provide meaningful revenue to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. We encourage any individual, business, organization or municipality that supports operator‐based video gaming to join PAVGA to help grow this important initiative!

WORKING TOGETHER, EVERYONE WINS!

Pennsylvania and Local Government Win

Once fully implemented, VGTs are expected to generate over $1.1 billion in total revenue, which would provide over $400 million in new revenues to the Commonwealth. There will be more oversight, dedicated funds to support problem gaming, additional monies to local municipalities, and protections for lottery funds. Furthermore, we will eliminate the unregulated games currently operating in the Commonwealth and bring all gaming terminals under the control of the PA Gaming Control Board.

Professional Operators Win

Professional operators, many of whom are small, family-owned businesses, could as much as double in size. They will create high-quality, good paying jobs for people to manufacture, install and service VGTs throughout the Commonwealth.

Small Businesses Win

Liquor-licensed locations will add substantial, passive revenue to help grow their business. The added income will help our small businesses improve their facilities and attract more patrons. Veterans clubs, Fraternal clubs, bars and restaurants that are struggling to stay open will have a new opportunity to not only stay in business, but grow their business!
